day 5....
I have been on a 5 day fast of no consumption. My goal is 40 days. I chose 40 days in relation to Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness. I seek to be broken down so I can change and grow in new ways. Its not until we are able to recognize we want the breaking that we are unable to ever change. When we are broken there is only one way to go from there. UP!

Laundry Here we come!
I have been making my own Laundry Soap for a few years now. A while ago I was really excited about making it and selling it to others. That quickly faded as life became more consuming. Today I was able to see my vision come to life. Oh what joy that did bring me. It brought me excitement for many reasons. I would have to say the biggest one was my husband looking at me like he was proud. That was huge for me. I felt so validated by him and his involvement with ideas about my soap. The second exciting thing was doing it. I was actively following through with something. With something I so badly wanted to be doing. I was seeing it come to life and I had a part in it. A few weeks ago I broke down the cost and did business development ideas. Today we got the containers and the logo put on them. Then I made the soap. I am happy to say I am well on my way to selling soap. Environmentally safe and effective Laundry detergent. Free from harmful chemicals on your skin and tough enough to cut the germs. Be on the lookout. Pure Circle is coming to you soon!

All my own yumminess.....
Wanted to make a homemade and healthy waffle. After long searches of unsatisfying recipes i just decided to wing one of my own. It was hit with kids and I gotta say, i had to hold myself back they tasted that yummy.

2 1/2 cups of unbleached bread flour
1 stick of butter
2 eggs
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp Baking soda and salt
1/2 cup molasses
3 tbsp sugar
Directions:
First put the flour in a mixing bowl. You dont need a very big one.
then melt the butter.
pour the butter in with the flour.
then warm up the milk about 45 seconds.
pour in with flour and butter mix.
stir.
then add the 2 eggs, salt, BS, sugar and molasses.
Stir well. The mix should be like a cake batter. Not runny but not to think too scoop onto waffle iron.
add peanut butter and syrup and you are sure to have dessert for breakfast. P.s. at this point "not to healthy" was in mind ;)

Fire in the sky.
This only reminds me of the day Jesus return. I wonder when he says "in the cloud" if it will be day or night and if there will be such a glow it resembles a "fire in the sky".....
Lukas my light
Still can't believe I have a sweet, smart, beautiful pain in the butt almost 3 year old! Oh Lukas how you have been my joy in trial and error. Your such a gift and you bring so much light to my eyes. Thank you for being patient with mommy. Thank you for being so wonderful. We are so blessed to have you be ours. Love you baby. You have been such a wonderful brother to Isak and I am so proud of you. Love mommy.
